As a young girl, Elise learned the healing power of food. By drastic changes in her family diet she noticed first hand, the impact good food has on health and the world around us.

She is a seasoned FMCG leader that worked in the food industry for companies like Danone, Nutricia and Arla Foods. From this experience she learned the areas that need improvement but also the barriers that prevent change in the food system.

In 2022 she took time to rethink her future career when f.EAT was born.

Elise is passionate about changing the food system through re-imagining and innovating the status quo. She knows the pain points but and where solutions are needed. She is therefore also a mentor in food- and agtech accelerators like StartLife in Wageningen and the EIC scaling club, where she supports European deep tech scale-ups.

She has worked in Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Germany and understands the different cultural codes of food and the role food plays in different societies.
